Level-I (PRT – Primary Teacher for Classes I-V):
Senior Secondary (or equivalent) with at least 50% marks AND passed/appearing in final year of:
- 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) OR
- 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed) OR
- 2-year Diploma in Special Education
- Language Requirement: Matric with Hindi/Sanskrit or Higher Education with Hindi
- Relaxation: 5% in minimum qualifying marks for SC/BC/PH candidates of Haryana
Level-II (TGT – Trained Graduate Teacher for Classes VI-VIII):
Graduation with at least 50% marks in the concerned subject AND one of:
- Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) OR
- B.El.Ed. (4-year) OR
- D.El.Ed./BTC/JBT with specific subject combinations
- Subject Combinations: Strict requirements for each TGT subject (Social Studies, Science, Mathematics, etc.)
- Language Requirement: Matric with Hindi/Sanskrit or Higher Education with Hindi
Level-III (PGT – Post Graduate Teacher for Classes IX-XII):
- Post Graduation with at least 50% marks in concerned subject AND B.Ed. degree
- Exception: PGT Computer Science requires M.Sc. Computer Science/MCA/B.Tech (CS/IT) with 55% (No B.Ed required)
- Language Requirement: Matric with Hindi/Sanskrit or Higher Education with Hindi
- Additional: Consistent Good Academic Record required
