CSIR-CDRI Research Internship 2025 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must fulfill the following eligibility criteria to apply for the Research Intern positions:

Essential Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Chemical Sciences/Chemistry
  • Candidate should have completed Master’s degree in the year 2025
  • Must have studied Organic Chemistry as one of the subjects in Master’s degree

Age Limit:

  • Maximum age limit: 28 years as on 15th November 2025
  • Age relaxation: 5 years for SC/ST/PwBD/Women candidates and 3 years for OBC candidates as per Government of India rules

CSIR-CDRI Research Internship 2025 Application Process

The application process is completely online. Candidates need to submit their applications through the official portal before the last date. Shortlisted candidates will be called for online interview through e-mail.

Important Instructions:

  • Prescribed qualifications are minimum and mere possession does not entitle candidates to be called for interview
  • No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview
  • Engagement as Research Intern does not confer any right for regularization in CSIR/CDRI
  • Candidates with CGPA/SGPA must convert to percentage as per university formula
  • Original documents will be verified at the time of joining

Selection Process:

The selection will be based on screening of applications followed by online interview. The Screening Committee may adopt additional criteria for shortlisting candidates based on the number of applications received.
