Alamuri Ratnamala Institute of Engineering and Technology (ARMIET) successfully organized an AICTE Training and Learning (ATAL) Academy-sponsored Online Faculty Development Programme (FDP) on “Transitioning to a Green Economy: Policy, Finance, and Innovation” from October 27 to November 1, 2025.
The week-long FDP aimed to empower faculty members, researchers, and industry professionals with in-depth knowledge and practical insights to promote sustainable transformation through effective policy, financial frameworks, and innovative approaches.
The sessions focused on a range of topics including Principles of the Green Economy, Circular Economy, Green GDP, Waste Management, Renewable Energy, Climate Resilience, Policy Frameworks for Green Growth, Entrepreneurship, and the role of AI and IoT in Environmental Sustainability.
Eminent academicians and industry experts such as Dr. Deepak Shukla, Dr. Prasad Khanzode, Prof. Bibhu Prasad Sahoo, Dr. Abhishek Singh, Mr. Siddharth Dixit, Dr. Neeraj Saxena, Prof. Rajasekhar Mouly, Dr. Mohan Lal Agarwal, Dr. Preeta Sharan, Dr. Sidharth Shankar, Mrs. Purvi Salvi, Mr. Nikhil Gupta, and Dr. Nirja Upadhye enriched the sessions with their valuable insights and experiences.
The event was conducted and organized by the Department of Master of Management Studies (MMS) under the leadership of Shri Alamuri Venkateshwara Gupta (Chairman), Dr. Lavendra Bothra (Founder Chairman & Campus Director), and Dr. Prakash Patil (Principal). The programme was coordinated by Dr. Shilpa Mishra, with support from Dr. Ashwini Kshirsagar and Prof. Rajesh Sabbani.
