The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Kalyani, West Bengal, has officially announced a major recruitment drive for 150 Senior Resident (Non-Academic) vacancies under the Central Residency Scheme. This is a golden opportunity for qualified medical and non-medical candidates aspiring to serve at one of India’s premier healthcare institutions.
The vacancies are spread across 29 departments, including Anaesthesiology, Emergency Medicine & Trauma, General Surgery, Orthopaedics, Radio Diagnosis, Medical Oncology/Haematology, and many more. Candidates with MD, MS, DNB, DM, MCh, M.Sc., M.Biotech, or PhD qualifications in the relevant disciplines are eligible to apply. For certain specialties like Hospital Administration, Transfusion Medicine, and Emergency Medicine, additional specific qualifications are required.
The recruitment process will be conducted through a Hybrid Interview (Online/Offline) scheduled on September 11 and 12, 2025, at AIIMS Kalyani. Selected candidates will be appointed for a maximum tenure of three years and will receive salary benefits under Level-11 of the 7th Central Pay Commission (CPC), along with Non-Practicing Allowance (NPA) and other admissible allowances.
