Oil India Limited Recruitment 2025 : Oil India Limited (OIL), one of the leading Maharatna Public Sector Undertakings of India, has officially released its recruitment notification for the year 2025 under ADVERTISEMENT NO: HRAQ/REC-EX-B/2025-07. This recruitment drive aims to fill more than 100 vacancies across Grade A, Grade B, and Grade C positions, primarily for postings at Duliajan, Assam.

The recruitment offers diverse opportunities for engineers, officers, specialists, and professionals from multiple domains such as Mechanical, Chemical, Civil, Electrical, Petroleum, HR, IT, Finance, Fire & Safety, Geology, Geophysics, Legal, and Public Affairs. The top position advertised is that of Superintending Engineer (Production) in Grade C, with a handsome pay scale of ₹80,000 – ₹2,20,000. The largest share of vacancies, however, lies in Grade B, where more than 97 posts are available, particularly in Senior Officer roles. Meanwhile, Grade A positions such as Confidential Secretary and Hindi Officer are also open, providing a good entry opportunity for young professionals.

The application process began on 26 August 2025 at 3:00 PM and will continue till 26 September 2025 at 11:59 PM. A Computer-Based Test (CBT) is tentatively scheduled for 1 November 2025, followed by personal interviews for selected posts. For most Grade A and B roles, the selection process includes a CBT (85% weightage) plus an interview (15% weightage). However, certain posts like Senior Officer (Security) will be recruited through interview only, while Hindi Officer and Confidential Secretary will undergo a CBT plus skill/proficiency test.

The application fee is set at ₹500 + applicable taxes for General and OBC(NCL) candidates, while SC/ST/PwBD/EWS/Ex-Servicemen candidates are exempted. Applicants must carefully ensure eligibility, as age limits, experience, and qualifications will be reckoned as of 26 September 2025. Relaxations in upper age limit are available for reserved categories, PwBD, Ex-Servicemen, internal OIL employees, and PhD holders.

Selected candidates will be placed under an initial probation period of one year.
