`Game` played through SIR will not be possible again: Akhilesh Yadav | Sarkari Result Info

Samajwadi Party president Akhilesh Yadav on Friday alleged that the “game” allegedly carried out through the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls in Bihar would no longer be possible in other states, reported the PTI.

His remarks came as the BJP-led NDA appeared to be heading for a decisive victory in Bihar, even as the opposition Congress raised concerns over the integrity of the ongoing vote-counting process.

In a post on X, written in Hindi, Yadav claimed that the “game” conducted through the SIR in Bihar had now been “exposed”, adding that such “election conspiracies” would not be possible in West Bengal, Tamil Nadu, Uttar Pradesh or anywhere else, according to the PTI.

“We will not allow them to play this game any further,” he said.

He added that, like CCTV surveillance, the SP’s ‘PPTV’—described as the ‘PDA (Backwards, Dalit, Minority) Prahari (watchdog)’—would remain vigilant and foil the BJP’s plans.

The months-long SIR in Bihar concluded after the Election Commission (EC) published the final electoral roll on September 30.

The exercise had drawn strong objections from the opposition, which accused the EC of acting at the behest of the ruling BJP—an allegation the Commission firmly denied.

Akhilesh Yadav further remarked that the BJP was “not a party, but a fraud”.

According to the EC’s website, the NDA is leading in around 200 of Bihar’s 243 assembly seats, placing the BJP on course for its strongest-ever performance in the state.

As the NDA widened its lead, Bihar Congress chief Rajesh Ram alleged “serious anomalies” in the counting process, claiming that the pace of counting had slowed significantly in several centres after the early rounds.

Meanwhile, the BJP on Friday hailed the NDA`s performance in the Bihar Assembly polls, saying people have once again expressed their trust in Prime Minister Narendra Modi`s “development-focussed” politics, as per the PTI.

The BJP-led NDA has impressive leads in more than 180 of the state`s 243 assembly seats, with trends indicating that the saffron party was on track to post its biggest tally with an excellent strike rate.

“NDA heading towards a landslide victory in Bihar,” BJP MP and chief spokesperson Anil Baluni said on X in Hindi.

Baluni also posted a video footage of Prime Minister Modi`s poll campaigns in Bihar where he had asserted that the NDA would register its biggest-ever poll victory in the state, the news agency reported on Friday.

Sharing the same video clip of Modi, BJP MP and national spokesperson Sambit Patra wrote on X in Bhojpuri, “Bihar kein bumper heet ho gaeel, jodi modi nitish ji ke hit ho gaeel (Bihar recorded a landslide victory, Modi-Nitish`s pair became a hit”.

With the trends showing the Congress being decimated in the elections, another BJP national spokesperson Gaurav Bhatia took at swipe at Rahul Gandhi, saying the opposition party did not just lose its legacy but credibility also under his leadership.
